Gil Broussard

Cajun Drifter

A lean and weathered man, somewhere in his late forties, with mean looking eyes and a smoldering pipe usually clenched in his teeth. He wears a threadbare duster and a battered old hat.

Broussard is a cunning, foul tempered Cajun from Louisiana. He grew up on the bayou, got in trouble with the law on numerous occasions, and fought for the Confederacy during the Civil War. He fought in the disastrous battle of Pea Ridge and ended his service when Little Rock was occupied by Union forces. He spent the rest of the war as a P.O.W. in Gratiot Street Prison in St. Louis.

After the war ended, he became a drifter. Some say he’s a bandit and a murderer. Others say he works for the Pinkertons. It may be that both of those rumors are true.

Broussard is currently hunting the outlaw Juan Rivas and a few other banditos from the Rivas gang.
